We all use Instagram on a regular basis. A delightful platform it finds favor thanks to the lovely collection of images shared. However, if you want to download Instagram photos for your use it is not possible to do so. You need to use third-party software to be able to do so. Here we tell you in detail how.

Download images on Android

First method- Download Gram

First, locate the image that you wish to download and tap the icon that is of three vertical dots. Upon tapping you will get the Copy link option. Click on it and then open the DownloadGram’s website. Paste this link into the box there and then click on “download.” This will be followed by the “Download image” option. Once the download is over you will be able to see the image in the phone memory.

Launch Instagram and go to the image you wish to download
Tap the three vertical dots icon above
Select the “Copy Link” option
Go to DownloadGram’s website
Paste the link into the text box present
Tap “Download” and then you should click “ Download image”

The second method- FastSave

Go to the Google play store and find the app FastSave. Install and launch the app and move on to “Fastsave service.” Now select “Open Instagram” and move on to the image you wish to download. Again tap on the three dots icon on the image and click on “Copy Link.” The app automatically downloads your image and you may find it in your Phone’s gallery. Since this method works faster you may use it if you wish to download multiple images.

The image will automatically download and you can find it in your gallery

Downloading images to your PC

First method

DownloadGram

In this case, you first have to find the image you want to download. Click on the three horizontal dots icon and then click on the “Go to post” option. Now copy the link of the page and paste it on DownloadGram’s text box. Just click “Download” and then “ Download image” and your work is done.

Go to Instagram’s website and find the image you wish to download
Now click on “…” icon
Click on the “Go to post” and then copy the URL of the page
Paste the URL in DownloadGram’s text box
Click “Download” and then “ Download image”

Second method

Save-o-gram

If you wish to download more than one image at one time then this option may be used. First, download the software from its website and install it. Open the software and then search for images using hashtags, usernames, or links.

Choose the images you want to download and then tap on “Download selected files” or “Download as a zip file.” You may also select all images to save your time. The software is free only for 7 days after which you have to pay fees of $9 per month.

Enter hashtags, usernames or link to see Instagram images related to it
Choose the images you want to download
Now click on “Download selected files” or “Download as zip file”

Bookmark images on Instagram

You may just bookmark the images you require and then use them later. Find the image and press on the bookmark button. To view images saved, go to your profile and click on the “Saved” option. Similarly, you can do it on the PC as well.
